1. Sales and Promotions

1.1. Price Match

Price Match Guarantee

"A&S Motorcycles will match any current, advertised price for tires or any part, accessory, or apparel item from BMW, Ducati, Triumph, or from aftermarket brands sold on our website.  Some exclusions apply." 

Price match exclusions:

Price match must be for exact item.  It must be the same part number, size, shape, color or quantity.  If we cannot determine that the item is the exact same, then it is excluded from our price match policy.  We will only match prices for product sold by United States based vendors/dealers, or vendors that do business only in the United States.

  • Private-party sales (non-retailer) listed on stores, market-places and/or forums do not qualify for the price match policy.
  • Damaged, used, refurbished, and /or "open package" items do not qualify for the price match policy.
  • We will not match general or "blanket" coupons or discounts, i.e. "30% off any item".
  • Prices that only display on a website after guests log in, do not qualify for the price match policy.
  • Price match policy does not apply to Service labor or vehicle sales.
  • We do not match "final price" or "shipped to your door" dollar amounts.  Our policy is for matching the price of the product only.  All other conditions of delivery are excluded from this policy.

  • Service tools from BMW, Ducati and Triumph are excluded.

 

 

 

1.2. Clearance Product

We have clearance, discounted and open-box items listed for sale at a discount.

All sales of these items are FINAL and may not be returned or exchanged.



1.3. Free Shipping

A&S Motorcycles will ship your products for FREE if delivered in the contiguous United States; the 48 states excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

If delivered elsewhere, shipping will be calculated after the order has been received and an email with a shipping quote will be sent for authorization.

We consider the FREE shipping a promotion, and reserve the right to suspend that promotion at any time.







1.4. Sales Tax

A&S Motorcycles is located in California.  

If you are a California resident, A&S Motorcycles will cover the sales tax on product(s) purchased when shopping on our website, ascycles.com.  

If you live locally and visit us in person to shop at our store, we will honor the "We Pay The Sales Tax" for any items listed here on our website. 


If you live outside of California, you will not be charged sales tax.  


Either way, it's a "win" for you.  

2. Returns

2.1. What Products Can Be Returned or Exchanged?

A&S Motorcycles is proud to offer a "no hassle" return/exchange policy as part of our goal of 100% customer satisfaction. There are however a few rules that need to be followed:

Defective Product or Wrong Product Shipped:

If the product you receive is broken, or is not the product you ordered A&S Motorcycles will accept it for an exchange as well as pay the return shipping to get the product back to us, and then get the correct or functioning product back to you.

Product no longer wanted:

If after 30 days of receipt of the products you buy from A&S Motorcycles you are not totally happy with your purchase you can send the product (in unused, like new condition, in original packaging) back to A&S Motorcycles  for a full refund of the product's purchase price or an exchange with the following exceptions:

NO Returns are permitted on Special Order products.

NO Returns are permitted on BMW Painted Body Components/Panels/Fairings.

Products that can only be exchanged for exact replacement:

  • Electronic equipment or products - This is due to safety issues
  • Hazardous materials (Oil, chemicals, etc.)
  • Gift Certificates
  • Media of any type (printed books and manuals, microfiche/microfilm, videotapes, CD's, DVD's, software, and other electronic media) - This is due to copyright issues
  • Helmets- Because of the important safety considerations with helmets, helmets can only be exchanged for an exact replacement and only if there is a manufacturer defect. Returns on helmets will not be accepted for size/fit/comfort reasons. Please be sure of your exact size and comfort considerations before ordering any helmet.

Products that are older than 30 days, or exhibit obvious signs of excessive use or abuse will not be accepted for refund or exchange.

2.2. Return / Exchange Procedure

A&S Motorcycles is proud to offer a "no hassle" return/exchange policy as part of our goal of 100% customer satisfaction. There are however a few rules that need to be followed:

All eligible (see HERE for list of products that can not be returned for refund) products that are un-used, un-damaged, and as new may be returned for a full refund of the product's purchase price (not including shipping).

Product must be returned with all original packaging, instructions, accessories, etc. to receive a complete refund or exchange.

You must include the Attention Returns as well as include the invoice number / ticket number from the invoice that came with your product shipment on the address label as well as write it on the top and sides of the box you are returning the product in.

Returns that are not properly addressed and labeled risk being subjected to excessive delays in return/exchange processing.

We recommend shipping via a reputable shipping company that can provide tracking information and insurance. The customer is responsible for the products until they are received by A&S Motorcycles , so we recommend you have adequate insurance on your shipment to cover the cost of the products if they are lost or damaged in transit.

Please note that returns may take 7-9 days to process once we receive your return.

2.3. Return / Exchange Procedure : Defective/Misship

We apologize that the product that you have received from us was either damaged or not what you ordered.

A&S Motorcycles is proud to offer a "no hassle" return/exchange policy as part of our goal of 100% customer satisfaction. There are however a few rules that need to be followed:

Product must be returned with all original packaging, instructions, accessories, etc. to receive a complete refund or exchange. 

To Return:

If you have not done so already, contact us to inform us of your desire to return product you ordered from us. We will mail you a return label so that you can get it back to us at no cost to you. Once you have received the return label, simply drop it off at a FedEx location or call FedEx and they will come out to pick up the package.

When returning product, you must include a copy of your invoice with a note as to the reason for the return, as well as if you require a refund or a replacement/exchange.

Due to the increased processing time on returns that do not include a copy of the invoice and notes as to the reason for the return and if you want an exchange or refund, RETURNS WITHOUT A COPY OF YOUR INVOICE WITH NOTES AS TO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THE RETURN (EXCHANGE or REFUND) WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 15% PROCESSING FEE.

3. Shipping

3.1. Shipping & Logistic Delays

Due to the current global situation with Shipping Logistics in both receiving parts from our international vendors as well as shipping those parts out to our customers with all national carriers, we want to inform you that orders may take upwards of six to eight weeks for final delivery to your doorstep.

This is something that is completely beyond our control and want you to be fully informed before proceeding with the order.

We want to be your dealer that provides you with the parts you need, but also understand that being knowledgeable about the situation in advance, will allow you to make a more informed decision.


3.2. How are your shipping charges computed?

Shipping prices to Unites States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) are as follows:

 We frequently have FREE shipping promotions that supersede the above shipping table.  These are subject to change at anytime.

Any requests for expeditied shipping made via phone or email will be accessed at that time, and added to the standard shipping rate.

Shipping outside the United States (ie. Canada, International, Puerto Rico, APO and/or FPO) and Alaska or Hawaii will result in higher shipping/handling charges. A&S Motorcycles is not responsible for any taxes/duties that apply.  Because we don't know the exact charges until we box up your order, you will initially be charged the normal rates, we will then contact you with the additional shipping charges, and upon your approval we will add those additional charges.

3.3. Do you ship to Canada?

Please read this entire notice before proceeding with ordering.

How to order:
All products will be shipped via Federal Express as the freight carrier and using "Internal Economy" as the only level of service.We will do our best to package the items to meet size and weight restrictions. Some large items like body panels or saddlebags ordered with other items, may require multiple boxes/shipments to get all the items to you and will incur additional shipping charges.

The shipping amounts currently shown on our website are computed for delivery to U.S. addresses only. We will contact you with the exact shipping charges before we process your order. We will need an active phone number that we can reach you at during regular business hours to notify of the shipping charges.

All orders must ship to where you receive the bill for your credit card that you are using to pay for the order. Unfortunately there is no exception to this. We will verify the billing address with the card-issuing bank. If the billing address cannot be verified by your bank to match the shipping address, the order will not be able to be processed.

When your order arrives, there may or may not be additional customs and duty fees associated with the order that we do not charge you for. These additional fees are charged by FedEx and are not from A&S Motorcycles . They will need to be paid for when your package arrives.

A&S Motorcycles WILL NOT refund refused shipments to Canada.

3.4. Do you ship internationally, outside Canada?

Please read before proceeding below:

 

Yes, we can ship internationally, BUT we can only accept orders with payments that have matching shipping addresses.

What does this mean?

The address that we have to ship is the authorized/billing address that is on file with the bank.  If the address does not match what is on file with the credit card company, then WE CANNOT ACCEPT IT.

  • "I can't place an international order because the state listing default of Alabama doesn't match my credit card address.  Is there any way around this?"

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are aware that our site does not allow the removal of the STATE identifier of "AL", but it is built into our site checkout system and cannot be modified or removed.

We have been assured by our payment system that it does not take the state identifier into account when verifying address information.

The issues that our customers are finding is that the credit card that they are trying to use does not support the AVS or address verification service that our website employs.  Due to this, the site kicks back a default message that the address is incorrect.

We cannot work around this.  If the site cannot verify the address, because the card does not support the service, then it cannot be accepted on our site.

We cannot push the card through manually.

3.5. Will I be charged for multiple shipments?

 

  1. If your entire order is in stock, then it will ship within 24* hours of bing processed. 
  2. If some of the item(s) of your order are out of stock, then your order will be shipped once the 'out of stock item(s)' arrive from our supplier.
  3. If there are no item(s) from your order that are in stock, then your order will be shipped once the entire order has been received.

Please note:

If any of your 'out of stock item(s)' have not been received from our supplier(s) within 10 business days of your order being processed, then we will ship the in stock item(s) to you at no additional charge.

*We do not ship orders Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

3.6. Military FPO/APO's

A&S Motorcycles recognizes that tremendous value that the men and women in our armed services provide us here at home, therefore we are glad to ship to our servicemen and women overseas.

However, because of the nature of military mail, there are no options for expedited shipping and there are no tracking numbers or insurance available.

All orders shipped to APO and/or FPO are sbject to additional charges over our standard $9.97.

Shipments must go out via normal US mail, so we make every attempt to get to the post office the same day when we have APO/FPO shipments to make. However, because this is not a normal shipping process for us, there are times when there may be a short delay before we are able to get to the post office and get your product to you.

3.7. International Orders that authorized through Website.

3.8. Returned Package(s) due to non-delivery.

If a shipment is returned to A&S Motorcycles / ascycles.com due to non-delivery, or if the package cannot be delivered due to missing information or action needed by the recipient; the order will be refunded.

The original shipping for the order is non-refundable.

3.9. Shipping Lead-Acid Batteries within California

Mandatory for batteries delivered within California:

This dealer is required by California law to charge a nonrefundable $1 battery fee and a refundable deposit* for each lead-acid battery purchased.

A credit of the same amount as the refundable deposit will be issued if a used lead-acid battery is returned at the time of purchase or up to 45 days later along with this dealer's proof-of-purchase.Add

* Customer is responsible for return shipping to be reimbursed for the refundable deposit.


3.10. 3.9 Incorrect Shipping Address, Address Changes and Returned Packages


  • Packages shipped to an incorrect address due to an incorrect address being provided to A&S for completion of the order may result in shipping charges and/or restocking fees.  


  • Customer's wishing to change the delivery address of a package that is already en-route may request an address change, but all costs associated with the change are at the buyers expense.  A&S reserves the right to refuse an address change request at any time.


  • Packages returned to A&S due to being "undeliverable" may result in return shipping charges and/or restocking fees.


4. Order Processing

4.1. Where's My Stuff?

The complete order processing flow is detailed in another entry HERE.

Once you place an order with us, you will receive an email informing you that our system has received your order. Typically, except over weekends, you will receive another email informing you that we have processed your order as well as the status of the items you prdered.

Once your package has been picked up and processed by FedEx you will receive an email directly from FedEx with the actual tracking number and a link to check on the status of your package. It can take FedEx several hours once they pick up the day's shipments from out shipping department (which typically happens round 4:00pm PST).

Until you actually get this email from FedEx your packages can not be tracked because they are not in the FedEx system. 

You can also track your package once it's shipped and in FedEx's system by logging into your account, going to your order history and clicking on the appropriate tracking link/button displayed.

Note, non US48 shipments do not ship via FedEx and are thus not able to be tracked via this method. For Canadian orders please call us at 1-916-726-7334 for tracking information. Tracking information is not available for APO/FPO orders. 

4.2. What kind of product availability can I expect?

Part of what makes Motorcycles special is that they are unique and there's not a million bikes like yours riding around in your town. Because of this, many parts and accessories are typically produced by boutique or specialized manufacturers, often outside of the USA. They typically have low demand and are typically not stocked in large quantities. We will fill your order as soon as possible but please understand there is usually only one source per product and we are at the mercy of our suppliers when it comes to filling orders for product that we have run out of stock. Therefore it may take a little more time for you to get your product than it would for other items you may order online like books, consumer electronics, or CD's.

If upon finding out that the part you need is available for immediate shipment you wish to cancel your order, you may do so at any time up until the part has shipped to you at no cost. 

If you require immediate stock status, please call 1-916-726-7334 and ask our parts department to check availability for you. 

4.3. How is my order handled when I order off your site?

  1. Receipt: Once you place your order on our site you will receive an email generated by the system indicating that we have received your order information.
  2. Processing: Orders are processed Monday-Friday.  Checking your order, we will review your order information for accuracy, errors, etc. Once this review is done, you will receive another email from us indicating that we have begun processing your order. You will receive another email from us with the status of the items you ordered.
  3. Shipping: Once your order has been processed, it moves to shipping. Once your order has shipped, you will receive another status email from us indicating that your order has shipped. You will also receive another email from FedEx with your tracking number once it's in the FedEx system. Note: There can be a delay of up to two days between the time we ship the products and when the tracking information is available from FedEx's system.

Please make sure that you have added the domains of ascycles.com, ducati-motorcycle-parts.com, and FedEx to your spam/firewall exclusion list so that our communication can get through to you in a timely manner.

4.4. Payment terms

A&S Motorcycles makes significant effort to have as many of the products featured in our website's virtual stock in our physical stock as possible. There are times however when products that you order are are not in our physical inventory either because of unusually high demand, or because they are unique or special items that we don't have the space to store physically.

By placing an order on our websites you agree to be charged in full for the complete order total. This includes payment for the products that are in our physical inventory, as well as a 100% deposit for all products that we need to order from our suppliers to meet your request.

4.5. If a product needs to be ordered.

What is a product is out of stock that I had ordered?

If a portion or all of your order is out of stock at the time of processing, we will hold the entire order and consolidate the shipment into as few packages as possible.

If an item is ordered from a supplier, it can take an average of between 2-7 working days for the product to arrive at our shop, be received and get shipped out to you.

What does this mean for you?

You order will be held until it is complete, or until 10 working days have passed.  If in that time, your order is still not complete, we will ship out the portion that we have in stock and ship the delayed item separate at not additional charge to you.

But what if I want to cancel the special ordered part?

You may cancel the out stock item(s) from your order at anytime. Just let us know that you would prefer not to wait for the special ordered part and we will credit you back and get the in stock product shipped immediately.

We understand that our website does not show "live stock" status, and we understand that this can be inconvenient.

We strive to offer the most complete line of OEM parts, accessories and apparel and while we hope to have everything ready and in stock, we cannot physically house everything that we offer on our site.

We will work with our suppliers to get your order complete in as little time as possible.

5. General Website

5.1. Privacy

?: Why do I need to create an account to buy product from you?

A: In order to make sure that we have accurate information on our guests, we require that an account be set up to complete a shopping transaction. This insures that we have an accurate way to reach you should problems with your order arise, as well as to make sure that the "you" using your credit card is really "you".

?: How is my privacy protected?

A: All private information is kept in a secure database and sensitive information such as credit card numbers are transacted over a secure internet connection using the latest in SSL. All credit card transactions are process by Authorize.net to reduce fraud and the use of stolen cards, further protecting your personal data.

?: Will I receive Spam, will you sell or give away my information?

A: Under no circumstances will we give away or sell your information to any third parties unless it is necessary to complete your order or to communicate important information to you. That would include things like transmitting information to our credit card processing company for example, or transmitting your information to the supplier of a product you order if that product is directly shipped to you from that supplier, or if the product requires some type of customization requiring information like your name, size, etc.
We will send you our A&S Motorcycles Newsletter and Hot Deal bulletin when you register with our site. The A&S Motorcycles Newsletter is an informative email, full of stories, tips and products to keep you and your motorcycle happy, and is sent on a monthly basis. The Hot Deal bulletin is an exclusive notice of our amazing internet only deals and specials, you won't want to miss. We have HUGE buttons throughout these e-mails so you can remove yourself from these lists at any time.

* In summary, we hate spam as much or more than you do and we will not be responsible for creating any more than there already is.

5.2. Errors and Omissions:

We do our very best to make sure that all of the information on our sites is correct and current. However, mistakes do occur. There are times where the product described or the price is incorrect. 

With respect to items sold on our site, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our site may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation, and change the error on the website so it doesn't happen again.

We reserve the right to cancel any part or all of any order, due to errors in the product listing, the product pricing or the function of the website.  We reserve the right to cancel any order.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. 


In order to contract with ascycles.com you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. ascycles.com retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email and we will confirm the identity of the party which you have contracted with. This will usually be ascycles.com or may in some cases be a third party. Where a contract is made with a third party ascycles.com is not acting as either agent or principal and the contract is made between yourself and that third party and will be subject to the terms of sale which they supply you. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.


(a) Our Contract 

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.


(b) Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.


(c) Payment 

Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorisation being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been despatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.

6.1. Credit Card Acceptance Policy

Please note that A&S Motorcycles does not accept non-US or Canadian issued credit cards. That is, the bank that issued your card to you must be a US bank or a Canadian bank.

6.2. Why do you require that my credit card billing address and the shipping address are the same?

Due to an increase in on-line credit card fraud, identity theft, and related crimes, A&S Motorcycles chooses to be as thorough as possible when it comes to making sure that the person using your credit card to buy products from us is actually you. One way that that is accomplished is by making sure that the billing address for the credit card used is the same as where we are shipping the product. This greatly reduces the risk that your card is being used without your knowledge.

If you require the products to be shipped to a different address than the billing address on the credit card, you can contact your credit card's issuing bank and have them add the other address as a secondary authorized address so that we can verify it. 

6.3. Why to you require the additional code on my credit card?

The CVV or Card Verification Value is the 3-4 digit number found on the signature panel on the back of a credit card or possibly on the front in the case of American Express. Due to an increase in on-line credit card fraud, identity theft, and related crimes, A&S Motorcycles chooses to be as thorough as possible when it comes to making sure that the person using your credit card to buy products from us is actually you. Because this code is printed on the card, it is another method to make sure that the person using our site to place an order actually has the card in their possession.

6.4. Why was my credit card "billed" before the order was processed?

Once you place your order on our site and we verify your credit card information, the funds required to complete the transaction are placed "on hold" through the financial institution that issues you your card. At this point you have not actually been "billed" for this purchase, however it will come into play for future purchase's credit limit computations. Once we process your order as outlined above, we move the funds from the "hold" status to an actual credit card purchase. Please note that some on-line banking applications or web sites may indicate the "hold" as a purchase even before it has been moved into an actual purchase. A&S Motorcycles has no control over how your financial institution chooses to display these transactions.
